Growing up, I had always been interested in technology and how things worked. I loved taking apart electronics and figuring out how they were put together. When it came time to choose a college major, I knew I wanted to pursue something in the field of technology.

I started off as a computer science major, but soon realized that it wasn’t quite the right fit for me. I wanted to learn more about the hardware side of things and how to design and build computer systems. That’s when I discovered computer engineering.

I was drawn to the idea of being able to design and build my own computer systems and work on projects that could have real-world applications. I switched my major to computer engineering and haven’t looked back since.

The curriculum has been challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects such as designing and building a robot, and I’ve learned a lot about computer architecture, circuit design, and programming.

I’ve also had the opportunity to intern at a few companies in the field, which has given me a taste of what it’s like to work in the industry. I’m excited to see where my degree will take me, and I’m confident that computer engineering is the right major for me.

I know it’s not an easy decision to make, but following my passion and interests led me to find the perfect major for me, Computer Engineering. I highly recommend that you research and explore different majors and fields, talk to professors and professionals in the field, and most importantly, don’t be afraid to change your major if you realize it’s not the right fit for you.
